Subject: [OMAP 3530]Buildroot versions do not work out of the box (dsp node allocation failed)

I am using buildroot 2012.08 with Sourcery CodeBench ARM 2011.09. Buildroot
came with 0.10.2, tidsp-binaries 23.i3.8, dsp-tools 2.0
I compiled the kernel (3.2.28) with TIDSPBRIDGE=y to make sure it is
included.

Anything I try to run, be it "dsp-test" or "gst-launch videotestsrc !
dsph264enc ! fakesink", it all fails with

error: create_node: dsp node allocate failed
error: main: dsp node creation failed

Is there some mismatch between my packages? Are there anyone else using
buildroot?

Regards
Atilla

Yes, I use buildroot all the time. I've never seen a similar problem.
Have you tried with TIDSPBRIDGE=m? I have never tried with a built-in
module.

What is your version?

It worked when I used the alpha version of the base image instead of the
beta version that comes with tidsp-binaries in BR 2012.08.

Now I have generic gstreamer problems.
