James Lost On The Web...

Greetings,
First of all I am not smarter than a 5th Grade WEBMASTER...

So I probably do not even qualify to be in this group with you guys...
I get your emails allot and sometimes I know what you are talking
about. Sometimes not ! So please hummer me as I am asking for your
guidance and help...

I have been with Homestead now for about 13 years... There customer
service is great and their website suite for what it is, Template, is
ok to for the beginner...

I never have been able to get my website to look polished and
professional.. The content for the most part and the pictures are true
to form. I didn't want to wait 3 weeks for a consultation and was
really trying to get away from a template website design. Along with
some other reasonable decisions I decided to give Heritage Web Sites
an opportunity to design my new website using most of the old
content... $70.00 a page... x 8 pages YIKES!!!!

Would you kind Spirits please give me your opinions on the present
2cnd hard draft and let me know if I am heading in the right
direction.

I am a small business owner here in Memphis and figured the first
thing I should do is improve the image of my company website... I am a
one man show and before the economic crash I was doing ok with the
old site so I thought... ??? It is a whole new economic ball game now
and I am just trying my best to catch up with a good marketing
plan...and an improved image.

I have transfered all of my key words and meta tags over or lets say
my designer has... I hope not to lose any placement as if you Google
“roof cleaning Memphis”, “roof cleaning”, etc... I am ranked pretty
high with the old site and all... I do hope that up grading my site
will even put me further up on the page...

So again if you would be so kind tell me what you really think about
this new site. It hasn't gone live yet and there are changes being
made to some of the picture sizes and text...

But for the most part this is it...

Here are questions that keep me awake at night.
1. Should I have picked a different designer?
2. Should I have used a different web company?.
3. Have I completely waisted my time and money frivolously?
4. Is the hope?
5. Where is my stimulus package Check? LOL


I know my roof treatment stuff as I have been in the cleaning
industry since 1981..
Just not a very good web designer, guru type person...I rather be out
in the field saving a roof...
