Subject: Error while uploading
Hi...

today I installed gsite on my pc. Everything works good. But if I  am
uploading my sitemap.xml I allways get an error like this:

Connection Closed.

Has anybody an idea how to solve the problem?

You need to figure out what settings you need with any ftp program,
including exactly which directory one has to connect to in order to
upload to the root. The path is always relative to the highest level
to which you connect using that ftp user.

Is /home/www correct? Should it have a trailing slash? Or does your
ftp user connect directly and only to the actual root of the site? In
that case the directory path for GSC is just / alone.

Thanks for your answer. Best is... it works. I changed the directory to
"/home/www" and everything is fine.

I must have been
