Error contacting update page 404 not found

I've just installed v1.23 of GSiteCrawler and when I click Help/check
for updates the program reports "There was an error contacting the
update-page: HTTP-Error 404 not found" Any suggestions would be
appreciated.

Sorry, no idea. I see it's not working now. I will inform the
developers, maybe they'll fix it in some future release.
But you can always get the latest version from the site itself -
http://gsitecrwaler.com/. There's not been any more recent version
anyway, to the best of my knowledge.
