Esperanto at RIT

Saluton,
It's two AM, I can't sleep because I have been lax in e-mailing and
now have a backlog of about twenty people to respond to, and my break
from this consists of announcing to a group of people I've never met
but who share a common interest with me in a language no one I know
speaks that I'm starting a club on my campus.... more »

Vojaĝo?
|
| |
Hey, the Esperanto club here at U of I has been going really well. I
was wondering if anyone would perhaps be interested in having some
sort of meetup on a weekend or something. I'd be willing to travel
fairly far, as the school will help pay for it if we plan early
enough. But I'd also be totally down with having some students spend a... more »

Handbook
|

As this group grows, develops, and identifies ideas that work, we
should try to capture them. One way would be to develop more fully

useful guide that could help other people get started.... more »

Advertisement of Groups
|

So, once I get to school I want to have a game plan on how to
advertise that my Esperanto group exists. I've gathered a couple ideas
from others (thank you Jordon) and some myself, so I'll list them here
and then I hope you guys will comment and add to the list of ideas. I
figure that this can be added to Esperanto-USA's group handbook.... more »

New Year's Thoughts
|
| |
So, what kind of plans do you have for your group this upcoming year?
Or, thoughts on Esperanto. It's been an interesting year, especially
this last month or so with Esperanto taking a large role in
change.org.
For my group, I'll be just starting official meetings, so it will be a
lot of straight Esperanto lessons. However, if it goes quick enough,... more »

The Esperanto Pack
|
| |
I've uploaded two files here--check out "The Esperanto Pack 2." I
think they'd be useful for beginning learners of Esperanto, however
the version is rather outdated. The first page suggests sites,
including Gxangalo which I had to change. Also, I wanted to kind of
tailor it to the US (for my own selfish purposes) so I substituted the... more »
