What: PySerial with Richard Nuinhuis
When: Monday, May 14, 2012 6PM - 7:30PM
Where: Room 261, North Hall, Calvin College, Grand Rapids, MI
Our next Grand Rapids Python Users Group meeting is coming up very
quickly. Richard Nienhuis will be talking about serial communication
using the PySerial module. He'll have a few serial devices on hand to
demo and mess around with. He may also talk about the Beagleboard and
Beaglebone.

I'm still looking for someone to talk at the meeting on June 18. If
you're interested, please let me know.

Dave Brondsema has signed up to talk about Sourceforge's software
forge platform, Allura at the July meeting.

I remembered to bring a book to give away this month, so we'll be
doing that at the meeting tonight.

I was asked for some maps to help people use the most efficient
parking lot and door to get to the meeting. Although finding the room
has become a GRPUG right-of-passage, I'll give you these maps I made a

I have a humble request, I am located in India but I am highly interested in the python programming language but due to the obvious  reasons I cannot attend any meeting, but can I have link to the videos if nay so that I may watch it online.

Nope, there are no videos. I really don't see video being available in
the near future.

Occasionally presentations are available online; several of the
presentations I've given at GRPUG are available at
<http://www.wmmi.net/> as PDF. If you have any questions who can
obviously ask here; and many of the GRPUG memebers/attendees hang out on
the FreeNode IRC channel #grlug.
