Not a bug, just a add-on.... I have more e-mail addresses and am using thunderbird. I can't select seperate e-mail addresses in Growl, just the whole program, so I get messages of all these addresses. Dick

I am new to Growl (as you wil soon ascertain) and I wanted to know if I have a wav file or whatever type file Growl uses, can I add it to my list of possible sounds for my Mac? If so, and I am assuming this is possible, how do I go about doing this and what format does the file need to be in? Thanks for suffering the idiot.... more »

Hi all This may be trivial but can anyone point me to a way to collate my Growl notifications (coming to me mainly through Prowl) into Panic Status Board iPad app? [link] It can handle HTML tables, JSON or CSV tables as well as another few items but I can't find an easy way to do it.... more »

Sticky Notifications in Mountain Lion with Growl SDK

Hi everyone, I'm working on a project where I use the Growl SDK to show notifications from python, and I'm having trouble getting sticky notifications to work in 10.8, whereas they are working fine in 10.7. I'm guessing this is because Notification Center overrides the values I am setting via growl. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get sticky... more »

Growl crashes in Mountain Lion 10.8.3

Growl has an about tab. the version of Growl that you are using is really
old, it's 1.1.4. You can either grab the 2.0.1 version from the app store,
or 1.2.2 from our website. We no longer support 1.2.2, but it's definitely
newer than 1.1.4.
The preferences problem is due to this being a really old version of Growl.... more »

Growl Crashes

I don't know the cause of the crashing but the symtoms are: Firstly the menubar icon when clicked has all grey items. This happens after some arbitrary interval. Then when roll-up has been displayed on-screen for a while (haven't been able to narrow down the interval), clicking the close button does nothing.... more »

Wrong installation of Growl 2.0.1 purchased from App store

I have MacOS 10.7 and had previously installed Growl Fork. After purchasing Growl from the App store, the new installation went wrong. I followed the uninstall steps of GF from the FAQ several times, and reinstalled Growl 2.0.1 again and again... The question mark stays on the Growl icon in the Launchpad and the System Preferences doesn't contain it at all.... more »
