Is there an estimated release date for the Growl Mail fix?

First of all, thanks for creating Growl! I recently switched to Mac
and it's one of the essentials that I use all the time.

Just like everyone, I would like to know whether to wait for the
"official" release of the GrowlMail fix or just apply what Mike has
posted here (the "unsupported" version). Is there an estimated time of
release (at least only for the GrowMail, since every other thread is
asking for a fix).

We're estimating before Christmas. It'll probably be much sooner though. We have to validate a few things first with it. :)

Chris, that'd be awesome. I'm using the Applescript hack, but boy do I
miss the ability to click on the message to open it. Never realize how
much you need something until it's gone...

I went ahead and applied what Mike posted, since Christmas is more
than a month away (despite the fact that the official update could be
released sooner). Once the official update is released, then I'll
remove restore everything.
Thanks again for all the hard work, and that Mike for providing us an
interim solution.
