On top of that, whenever I close Growl and reopen it, the Applications Notifications slider goes back to 'Off' after I've switched it on. This is not a one-time occurrence.

I'd appreciate any assistance before I demand my money back.

Thank you.

Why Open the Web?

Despite the connecting purpose of the Web, it is not entirely open to all of
its users. When used correctly, HTML documents can be displayed across
platforms and devices. However, many devices are excluded access to Web
content.

Hello,
Look here http://growl.info/documentation/appconfigs/ for a listing of
popular applications, and how to get them to work with Growl, and many
other apps follow similar lines to those, but if you are having
trouble with any of those or others, feel free to ask about them more
specifically.

That switch I believe had the error that it didn't disable when the
app list is empty, and it basically does nothing (Its for enabling/
disabling an app thats in that list that is empty).

I had a similar problem, and going to that page, it asks you to download apps that you have already downloaded.

These two urls helped, but not much I

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/growlgntp/

http://growl.info/documentation/appconfigs/

I am still trying to get mine to work as well, but more have appeared on the in the Notifications section. Dont give up, some apps appear when you dont expect them to.

Hope that helps a little bit

John
