1. Close iTunes if it is running
2. Make sure Growl is running
3. Open iTunes
4. Click into your Music list or a playlist
at that point, if the iTunes plugin is installed, it should register
itself (show up in the Applications list) automatically.
if it does not, then something else is broken. in iTunes, select View
> Visualizer and see if 'Growl Notifications' is listed there. if it
is not, then the plugin did not install properly. if it is listed,
make sure it has a checkmark next to it, and then select View >
Visualizer > Options and a small window should open. Click 'Disable
Notifications' and then click back on 'Send Notifications' - that
should again force the plugin to register with Growl.
if none of that works, you can try re-installing iTunes and then
re-installing the plugin - I have heard from another person that was
having issues with the latest iTunes that this is what they had to do
to get it to work.
