Growl definitely shouldn't come to the front when a notification is received. I haven't heard of that happening for anyone else, so perhaps it is specific to your computer/installation? Try closing and then reopening Growl to see if that helps, and if not, try it again after your next reboot. If neither of those help, post up again and maybe somebody else will have some more advice on what to try next.

Why Growl for windows with redirect to my iPhone (the only thing I need) keeps bringing the application to the front?
I don't want this and I can't disable it in any way.
Someone have any suggestion?

Thx a lot

I'm don't know about the current case, but I have seen growl minimize full-screen applications (e.g., a game) when a notification comes in (a notification comes in, the game gets minimized, and the notification popup then appears in the corner of the screen).

It's very annoying, and I've now set the notification display to "None" as a workaround.  Pausing GFW during full-screen applications is not workable, because I still want notifications to be forwarded to my iPhone/iPad.  It would be really nice if there was an option to keep GFW alive but suppress the popup notifications during full-screen operation.
