If you are referring to how long a notification stays visible on the
screen, you can use the 'Duration' setting on the 'Applications' tab
(see attached screenshot). You can set it to any value up to 30
seconds. Note that not all custom displays honor the setting, but all
of the built-in displays and most others do.
