I am running Growl v2.0.2 on Windows XP SP3 with no problems. I was testing out the displays when I ran into a problem installing them from the web.

I was attempting to install this meter: http://www.growlforwindows.com/gfw/displays/meter

In Google Chrome (4.1.249.1036 beta (41514)), when clicking the "install" button on the page, I was asked if I wanted to allow growl to handle growl:// links, and I clicked yes. Growl pops up a notification that says "Growl is running". Nothing else happens.

I am able to install displays using Internet Explorer and manually in my user directory.

thanks for reporting this. it is actually a bug in Chrome
(http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=160), but i put up
a workaround so the web installations should work now from Chrome.
give it another go and let me know if that solves the issue for you.
