Subject: Re: Only God is the Truth
Hi Fred,

Yes, right, that is what I believe, too. Most people want to follow
themselves, which means that they have never surrendered to God, and
have never been born again. If not born again, they are no believers.

Yes, they are twisting everything, and see metaphors where something
does not fit into their own ideas. They should read the Bible like any
other book. They usually do not see symbols, metaphors and the like when
they read it. I agree, language is usually full of metaphors and
symbols, and God is able to make things clear enough so we will
understand them when the time has come. Somehow I do not need to read a
symbolical meaning in the Scripture verses as they have to. It is all
self-explaining to me. Revelation is the most powerful book of the Bible
I have read, and Genesis. If God does not speak to people reading
Genesis Himself, they will still believe in evolution theory. What is so
difficult for people to believe that? I can say that I baked a cake from
4 pm to 6 pm. So why could God not have made the world in six days if he
is God? What is the problem... And if Jesus went to heaven in a cloud,
why should He not come back the same way? If God said that the heavens
and the earth will melt away, He did not simply mean the fall of the
Solomon Temple in Jerusalem under the Romans. The people knew that the
earth was a little bigger than that in those times. They were not
stupid. They just did not have as much science and machines like we
have.

I agree with you wholeheartedly on this, Fred.

God Bless You,

Vera
