I hope everyone is prepared for the big IDE shootout next week.

I would like to collect the results of the shootout in a systematized
form and be able to present the results back to the web at large.

What does everyone thing of this idea:
* On 1 piece of paper, create a list of categories that each IDE will
be judged on
* During each presentation, rate the IDE 1 to 10 on each category
* Add any other comments between presentations
* Collate and publish at the end ( I can do this )

If you like it then we need to think of the categories.

Here would be mine:
cost, performance, platform availability, min specs, community
support, license, testing support, Grails specific support,
refactoring, syntax highlighting, error highlighting,
warning/intention highlighting, project navigation, search support,
build support (ant/maven/gradle), version control, debugger, Java
integration...

what else?

I created a form we can use for evaluation here:
http://groups.google.com/group/groovymn/web/ide-review-form

Those people preparing the presentation: feel free to fill in the
information we know beforehand.

Also, feel free to add your own categories and reorder the existing
ones.
