I have two Sr. Java development openings with Lifetime Fitness I am looking to fill

Hi guys,

 

I wanted to check in to see if anyone had availability for a new long term contract at the Lifetime Fitness headquarters in Chanhassen. I am working to fill a couple of Sr. Developer/Architect positions. Take a look at the overview below, and let me know what you think. Thanks!

They are looking specifically for GWT / AJAX experience, but would consider someone with a JAVA Swing background. This person will be working on the “Sales Process Redesign” project. Currently, when a member comes to Life Time to buy a membership, they are sent back to account service desk to talk with an account manager. Through this process, there is an extensive process for the account manager to actually sell the membership (explanation of membership types, paperwork, etc.). This group will be redesigning the process, so the sales turn around more quickly. They will do this by developing a system that explains the membership types, eliminates most of the paperwork, and moves mostly everything online. They will be working on a team that consists of a PM, BA, and two leads.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The person who fills this position will design, develop, and maintain Java-based web applications in support of our Sales Process.



GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Software Development
• Writes and tests Java web application components, including JSP, Servlets, SQL based JDBC, Javascript, CSS
Software Design
• Writes Software Design Specification documentation for components and sub-systems.
