[groovy-user] HttpBuilder logging?

The HttpBuilder docs talk about using log4j setting to get debug info:

I have a log4j.xml file on my classpath with the debug values set. I'm not seeing anything. Also I can't help notice that HttpBuilder doesn't have a log4j jar, just the Apache commons jars.
So what am I missing?
