Welcome to the Grid Motorsports google group.  It serves as a broadcast channel for the activities and interests of the Grid Motorsports community, which itself is generally focused on the sim-racing league called Grid Motorsports World Cup (GMWC).  Detailed information about the league, tools and services we employ to conduct our activities can be found at our official website: http://gridmotorsports.com.

Please note that subscription to the google group is not the same thing as either registering as a user on the website, or officially joining the GMWC league as a member.  Interested persons are encouraged to peruse the Grid Motorsports website, and to fill out our new member application if they wish to evaluate the league.

We rely on this list as the official means with which to broadcast information to the entire league.  The forum on our website leverages it to broadcast the initial post for new threads, but subsequent forum posts to a thread will only generate notifications to those who have contributed to it.  This allows each thread to accrue its own dynamic subscriber list, and league members can opt into notifications for any given thread without having to endure spam for every thread.

Please note:  replies should always be conducted through the forum (using the URL included in the notification), rather than directly replying to the google list.
