As per this report P.Geetha, during a public speech has demanded governmental enquiry into 'night vigil'And another thing which made us happy is that the demand is made to the 'government'. If AIDWA took brooms and cow dung, P.Geetha is 'taking' state to clear off the civil society of political adversaries.
Madhyamam daily report does not mention on any such state enquiry as reshma and dileep pointed out in their post at green youth .Unfortunately, it's now evident that the civil society politics/ movement have hijacked the very political issue of land struggle to the discussions on self identity/identity crisis (of the 'so called' intellects), women, sexuality, media politics etc …. The space given by the main stream media recently for the discussions on sexuality/media politics (night vigil) and to the issues on dalit /women /sexuality/tribal/marginalized groups earlier is interesting . It is an example of how the civil society politics overpower the real down to earth political issues and create a political vacuum.
