A SUDDEN INFLUX OF SPAM 
  I understand now why guestbooks are invariably taken off by the creators of them ~ likewise forums. Childish twaddle and worse starts to get posted, drowning out the original purpose. Shame. I've reported this abuse to Google, removed the offending items and summarily banned the perpetrators.... more »

'A WORLD BEYOND' COMPLETED. AND ALREADY SPOKEN FOR. 
  The sky's a touch darker aquamarine than on my original painting which has a little more cerulean, but because it's darker I've managed to pick up the trace of sunset yellow over the distant Sussex downs. VIEW ACROSS BEWL WATER ~ COMPLETED 
  Hazel reckons 'A Balmy Day at Bewl' would make a good title. Nice and alliterative but I don't think it looks that balmy. Unless she means 'barmy' ~ as in painted by a barmy artist. In that case it would have to be titled 'Barmy Day at Bewl'. Hazel's just said the latter is what she meant anyway....... more »

LATEST PICTURE: VIEW ACROSS BEWL WATER. Well under way. 
  Yes, you'll never believe it but I have actually started painting again. Up to the easel ~ with real brushes and real acrylic polymer emulsion (full nomenclature).
