recycling old slides & photos?

Do you know if there is a proper place to send old slides/photos for recycling?

Go to Pinterest and search "old photo slides" and you will find many ideas how these can be re-used.

That's a potential buyer of old slides.  Warning:  P for Pinterest.  P for prison.  They are the same.  Can get stuck for a period there.
