Subject: STATUS OF YOUR ACCREDITATION - RIO+20 CONFERENCE JUNE 2012 - LINK Corrigendum

Thank you for your interest in the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development Conference (Rio+20).  We look forward to your active participation.

Today the United Nations General Assembly endorsed a decision (A/66/L.44) to specially accredit some 800 non-governmental organizations to the Rio+20 Conference.  A list of those organizations recommended for special accreditation can be found in http://csonet.org/content/documents/AccreditationsAnnexI.htm

Please proceed with online pre-registration for all participants from your organization now.  Pre-registration is REQUIRED for everyone to access the Riocentro complex, including for the Third PrepCom, official side events, the Sustainable Development Dialogues, and the Rio+20 Conference itself.

For your convenience, the original 20 May deadline has been extended to 27 May 2012.

We will be emailing more details about logistics in Rio de Janeiro shortly.  We are also in the process of updating the online FAQs, please keep referring to them at our Major Groups page.

To pre-register in Rio, you MUST have your confirmation letter with a reference number and a valid photo ID or national passport. Make sure you print that letter when you register.
