In conjunction with the United Way Day of Caring on Saturday, September 19th, the Trails Trust of Humboldt Bay and Green Wheels will be partnering to improve the next trail segment at Cooper Gulch in Eureka. Beginning at 9am, join United Way volunteers, local residents, city staff, and a wide range of other volunteers as we bring greater mobility and health-promoting transportation opportunities to users of Cooper Gulch. Start the day off with a free breakfast in the parking lot and bring tools for moving dirt and clearing brush. Also, don’t forget your sunscreen, gloves, and water bottles! Check out these photos from the last trail day.

Finally, please forward this to anyone you think would be interested and contact Kevin Wright, volunteer coordinator, with additional questions regarding the project and volunteer opportunities at (978) 500-6933 or e-mail him at kcwrig...@gmail.com.

See you there!
