Greetings,

Green Wheels of Humboldt State University is organizing a bike ride to Eureka to vote for Mark Lovelace.  Mark is running for Humboldt County Supervisor. Green Wheels HSU is supporting him because of his dedication and enthusiasm for the regional bike and pedestrian trail system.

The official vote is on June 3rd.  Because many of us are HSU students, we will not be around for election day.  Instead we are going to bike to the Election Office and vote absentee.  This way you don't have to worry about registering as an absentee voter, waiting for your ballet, and then sending it in.  Plus biking is fun.  We are going to leave from Library Circle at 3pm on Wednesday, May 14th.  Confused?  If you are already a registered voter, you can go to the Election Office in Eureka, register absentee, and vote right there.  It is easy.

If you want a bike trail, then you need to vote for candidates that are going to help get Humboldt a trail.  What is more fitting than biking the Eureka corridor to vote for someone that will help Humboldt get a bike trail?  If you can't bike there, Green Wheels HSU encourages you to vote for Mark Lovelace on election day, June 3rd.  Last day to register for this election is May 19th.

Happy Riding,

Sara

ps. please wear your helmet.
