Internationally known musician and peace activist David Rovics (
[link]) will appear in Iowa between stops at the Democratic and
Republican conventions. He will be in Waterloo on Sunday, August 31 at 6:00
pm, at the Catholic Worker House, 321 E 8th st. Admission to the concert is
a freewill offering, no one will be turned away.

There will be a webcast Wednesday night in Latham Hall, room 125 at 5:45, discussing sustainability on campuses around the nation. The webcast is titled "Chill Out", and features videos of highlights in confronting global warming, and a panel discussion and the issue. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy the event.

This is what I got from the people from King Corn. I dont know what you want to do about this. I can try to email them and get the price even lower but right now it seems like we are stuck at $100 to get the copy rights. Let me know what you think ASAP so we can get this figured out and get accurate advertising. Remember we also have a table set up for 11am-1pm this friday to advertise.

Hello all,
We will have a meeting this Friday, April 11 at 3:00pm at the Vibe
coffeehouse to discuss our responsibilities from next week's films.
Also, Matt reserved a table for the group in the Union for Friday from
10-2pm to promote the films and make some buttons. If you would like to help
