Hi!
I was wondering if anybody has made a hydroponic garden and wether its
possible to make one. If possible its probably alot smarter to have a
hydroponic greenhouse right? I was also wondering if you guys made
your own greenhouses or if you bought them. Either way please list a
website that you buyed the greenhouse or the materials to make the
greenhouse and/or what materials you used.

Thanks,
Dylan

Well, as far as building a hydo sytem there are many differnt types,
for me I would not waste my money buying one because they are so easy
to build. As far as the greenhouse, all I wanted was something small
and easy, alot of people build there own, I personally just bought a
kit and put it together.

So, if you have the time, i would suggest building it yourself. If you
need help with a parts list, let me know I will give you a hand. Here
are some photos of my hydro system.

That would be great if you would give me help on a parts list! Do you
know of any stores or websites that have material that you can buy
needed for building a greenhouse and a hydroponic system?

Thanks,
Dylan

As far as building a greenhouse, again I just bought a kit from Rion.
There are many types of greenhouse kits you can buy online, just do a
google search. As far as the Hydroponics System, you can pretty much
find all of the parts at Home Depot. What I used is some really thin
wall 8" pipe, I drilled 6" holes, then bought some 5" schedule 40 pipe
and cut about 4" long pieces. This fits as an insert into the 6" holes
that where drilled in the 8" pipe and 5" netted pots will fit right in.
Then all you have to do is put end caps on the 8" pipes, drill 1 1/4
hole on one end and slip a 1" pipe in it so that the water will flow
out to the holding tank. As far as irragation, just a simple drip
system, with a sump pump purchased from Home depot. Put it on a timer
and you are in business.

Here in the Philippines we dont have leaching agents and final flush to be used before harvesting the lettuce.  I read bout this in one of the websites while surfing.  They use this nutrients before harvesting so to make the lettuce taste sweet and delicious. Coz in some time the lettuce tend to be bitter especially when they are harvested long overdue from the target date.  Can you suggest what I should do or have to substitute this leaching agent and final flush.
