Solar 101 Workshop
In conjunction with GreeningRozzie, Mayor Menino’s Renew Boston program will hold a solar workshop for City residents on Sept. 27th at 7pm at the Roslindale Community Center, 6 Cummings Highway, Roslindale Square. Workshop attendees will:
>> Find out about how cutting-edge solar technologies work
>> Learn about generous government incentives to help you install solar on your home
>> Talk with local solar installers about having your home evaluated for solar
Renew Boston is offering rebates up to $2,800 for Boston homeowners to go solar. Combined with state and federal incentives, Renew Boston Solar Rebates can help qualifying homeowners save up to 60% off the cost of home solar panels. Renew Boston is offering this limited time program thanks to the federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Only 70 Solar Rebates are available. Rebates will only be available to the first seventy qualifying Boston homeowners who apply.
