Lewisburg Celebrates the Dandelion Festival!

The sunny dandelion is NOT just a weed! Join the Lewisburg Farmers Market at the Methodist Church parking lot on Saturday, May 25 to celebrate this sometimes maligned gift of Nature.

Shannon Beatty our certified herbalist will be at her Sensorium Herbals booth to discuss the traditional uses of this amazing plant. Presentations will be at 10:00 and 10:30.

Following Shannon's presentations, Timothy Peregoy, cofounder of the Market and Chef Extraordinaire will do a cooking demonstration featuring the culinary delights of the dandelion leaves and flowers. Try a sample and take home a recipe.
