As it gets cooler everything start to wind down. Lucky for us that doesn't mean the produce stops! Be sure to come out this weekend to support our local Farmers Markets and see what delicious products they have this week!
For Saturday Ocotober 6th we have:
Alderson- Alderson Community Market's Second and Last Autumn Fest Market.Come celebrate the closing of our 2012 market season from8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. There will be a petting zoo, inflatable jumphouse, crafts, potatoes,pumpkins, peppers, corn grinding, baked goods and more! There will also be Live Music by Camp Run-A-Muk, a River Puppet show, Coloring contest and a Raffle! *Last Chance to come down to the Alderson Market this season!*
Lewisburg- Greenbrier Valley Farmers Market will be open 8am-1 pm in the county lot off 219 this Saturday, Get there early if you want any local popcorn!
Lewisburg- Lewisburg Farmers Market will have eggs, gluten-free cookies, pie-pumpkins, fall produce and more! Open from 8:30-1pm
Huntersville- Pocahontas County Farmers Market This week the market is moving to Huntersville for Traditions Day! Come by to pick up your produce while learning about our Appalachian Heritage!
Union- Monroe Farm Market onsite had their last market this past week. Thanks to everyone for a great season! if you want to check out the variety of products available on the online market go to www.monroefarmmarket.com.
