Description: 

Intelligent Water 

IBM Intelligent Water for Smarter Cities  product provides intelligence and insight into assets and operations to create a holistic view of water and wastewater across departments, silos and systems. By aggregating, integrating and visualizing key data on water such as consumption, quality, flow, pressure and so on. Adding critical event information such as weather forecasts and device status and then applying advanced analytics and optimization methodology, the solution delivers insights that help reduce water water leakage, reduce costs,  recapture revenue and increase the quality of service of water utilities. 

Intelligent Transportation 

IBM Intelligent Transportation, cities can perform advanced traffic analysis and optimization for better decision support to aid business owners of transportation management. It increases situational awareness across entire transportation network and analyzes traffic performance to improve travel experience. It can also serve as a tool to centralize the monitoring of vehicles and estimate transit and arrival times.

Speaker Profile: Radhesh has been a Software IT Architect in IBM Software Group for over 12 years. He has developed complex architectural solutions involving a broad array of technologies including:  Portal, J2EE, Content Management, Business Integration, Security, Database,  Infrastructure Monitoring and Business Intelligence in Industries such as Energy and Utilities, Banking, Insurance, BPO, Telecommunications.  He was the Chief Architect from IBM for the Accelerated Power Development & Reforms Program funded by the Govt of India. His efforts in this initiative led  to IBM solutions being adapted in 8 State Electricity Boards. He is currently working as an Architect for Smarter Planet Solutions of IBM for Business Partners in India. 

He has been certified in various IBM technologies like  WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere MQ, DB2, SOA Solution Designer.
