India is lacking of Indian manufacturers to fabricate Parabolic troughs, Fresnel etc needed for solar thermal plants . So, if we import from other countries, its capital investment goes very huge. So, the first barrier is Capital cost. And its levelized cost of electricity also more compared to other sources of electricity.

Well, the blog contributes variety collection of ideas and sharing data across the world. That would be more fine potential, i hope.

Dear All

I am looking for a CSP Technology provider who can partner with us in
setting up a 30MW solar thermal plant in AP India. The Indian players
who I have spoken to so far do not assure good PLFs hence the project
is not viable if I go with them. Hence I am looking for a foreign
partner.

Would be great if any of you can point me to some contacts.

Thanks

Hi Rukmini,

Why CSP when a SunCube Energy Farm can deliver lower $/kWh, is Indian made
and is available right now from Square's ISO 9001:2008 certified factory in
Satara India? Check out the recently updated photos of the production line
inside the Satara SunCube factory on the GGE web site. Just click the link
below.

Please contact Deepak Kelkar (CCed to this email) of Square Engineering to
discuss your requirements.

All the best,
