Sunday, June 24
9 am-12 pm
Free Lunch and drinks!

“1st Annual Water Chestnut Pullathon

Help hand pull the invasive water chestnut plant from the pond. Be part of the winning team with the biggest pile of plants! Prizes!

We will compete against other high school volunteers working on rivers in Billerica, Concord and Sudbury.

This is fun (and muddy/wet/physically challenging) work!

We have some canoes and kayaks; or you can bring your own.

a)      Paddle out onto the pond and pick plants from surface and pile them into the boat with you.
b)    help unload the boats, dump plants on shore.

Sponsored by the River Stewardship Council for the Wild and Scenic Rivers  http://www.sudbury-assabet-concord.org/

For more details, please email me!
Thank you!
Sincerely,
