Hi Everyone,
the Tuesday night TTs will be starting again very shortly (May 1), so it would be good if we could get volunteer time-keepers arranged. It’s all very easy. All you need to do is turn up to St.Benedict’s Church (11743 38th Street South Horace ND) at about 6:15pm (for a 6:30pm start) with a pen, paper, and a stopwatch of some kind. You just write down competitors’ names, decide on their start times (riders start at 30 second intervals), and record their finishing times. Everything is usually all over by 7:15.
I’ve listed the dates below, so just write your name next to anyone that suits. Thanks.

Great. Nice one, Spencer.
If people would like to volunteer as time-keeper’s assistant this would be cool too. (Having two people per night makes it an absolute breeze).

Also thanks to fur...@rtt.net (sorry - not sure whose email address this is), but that only leaves us with four spots to fill. Yay us!

Thank-you, Marilyn.
Just 3 more volunteers needed now. Anyone? Anyone? Would it help if I offered a Cliff bar as an inducement?
May 1: Martin Coleman
May 15: Steve Wentz
May 29: Spencer Salmon and/or Marilyn LaLiberte
June 12: Spencer Salmon and Jon Darling
June 26:
July 10: Dusty Hough
July 24: Jon Darling
August 7:
Woo-hoo! Nice one Ben.
May 1: Martin Coleman
May 15: Steve Wentz
May 29: Spencer Salmon and/or Marilyn LaLiberte
June 12: Spencer Salmon and Jon Darling
June 26:
July 10: Dusty Hough
July 24: Jon Darling
August 7: Ben Ahrens
Be sure to hurry, Judith. The Clif bar offer won’t last forever and, if you’re too slow, you might get left with a GU (berry flavor).

Hi All,
Just a reminder that tomorrow is the second time trial of the season.
Steve – are you still OK for timing duties? Would you like a left-handed stopwatch?
Martin
I'll be there. And don't worry. I'm an ambidextrous stopwatch operator.
Looks like its going to be a great night.
Hi All,
Just a reminder that tomorrow is the third time trial of the season. It looks like we should have a nice evening for it.
Spencer/ Marilyn – are you still OK for timing duties?
Martin
Hi Tim,
The first rider goes off at 6:30pm from outside St. Benedict’s church (11743, 38th St. South, Horace). Most people start arriving at around 6:00 – 6-15pm for a bit of a warm up. Hope to see you there.

Hi All,
Just a reminder that tomorrow is the fourth time trial of the season. They are forecasting much lighter winds than last time out, so there should be a good chance of posting a fast time.
Spencer/ Jon D. – are you still OK for stopwatch duties?
Thanks.
Hi All,Steve Wenzel has kindly volunteered to be our timer for tonight, so it's all systems go.Martin

Hi All,it's TT time again. Tomorrow is the fifth in the series. Does anyone fancy taking on timing duties?Just as a heads up - I'll be out of the country for rounds 6 and 7, but Dusty (July 10) and Jon D. (July 24) should have everything covered for those weeks.Martin
Hi All,
Just to remind you that it’s time trial time again this Tuesday. A few things:
Firstly, a big thank-you to Steve and Benjamin Wenzel for stepping into the breach on July 10 and July 24 to take responsibility for the stopwatch.
Secondly, Ben (Ahrens) could you confirm that you are still OK for timing duties this week?
Thirdly, would anyone like to volunteer to run the watch for the final time trial on August 21?
Hi Ben,
All you need is a timepiece that records seconds (stopwatch, digital wristwatch, heart-rate monitor etc.), and a pen and paper. If you get there about 6:15pm this will give you plenty of time to write everyone’s names down (it is a good idea to make a note of the jerseys people wear or bikes they ride too so you can recognize unfamiliar riders as they come into the finish). Start riders off at 30 second intervals (let the faster riders go last), and record their start and finish times. That’s all there is to it. Thanks for helping out.
Best,

I'll be there. Remind me when I need to show up and what I should bring.
Hi All,
Just to remind you that tomorrow is the tenth (and final) time trial of the series. I can run the clock (unless anyone else wants to take a turn), so all you need to do is bring your bike and some strong legs. A big thank-you goes out to everyone who has competed this year, and helped to make the event the success that it has been.
See you Tuesday.
Best,
Thanks for taking his on and keeping it running smooth Martin.
~Steve
