how to retrieve the "original" html

Hi all, i have a problem.
I have to collect data from a page that could be modified by other
scripts that alterate the html... So i need to execute my script
before any other else working with the original html or i have to
retrieve it from somewhere... I know i can call it using AJAX but it's
a solution i don't like...
Any ideas?

You can edit the order in which scripts execute by dragging them under
script management.
