Hi,
I've read through a lot of the material here and elsewhere but I'm
still stumped. I'd welcome any help.
I saw the script for BetterYouTube mentioned on LifeHacker.com -
looked good to me. So, I installed it in Firefox. Of course dumb Mr.
Newbie (that'd be me) didn't realize I needed to install GreaseMonkey
itself first. Duh! I'm not actually quite as dumb as that seems, I'd
thought GreaseMonkey was part of Firefox.
So, then I installed GreaseMonkey. And BetterYouTube still doesn't
work. In fact, when I go to "Manage User Scripts" it doesn't even
show up.
So then I got to thinking that maybe GreaseMonkey only recognizes
scripts installed AFTER it was installed. So, I uninstalled
BetterYouTube, closed Firefox, restarted Firefox, and re-installed the
BetterYouTube script. Still no joy. The script does not show up in
"Manage User Scripts" and ti doesn't seem to do anything when I visit
YouTube.
I'm be grateful for any help. Thanks.
