Dear New Member,

I thank you for your interest in my work and for signing up to this Gravity Modification Google Group. This is an announcement only group. Thus,

1.     Anyone and everyone is welcomed to join this group.

2.     You will be informed of my events and lectures on gravity modification.

3.     The progress made to reaching commercial viability.

4.     Do remember to confirm acceptance to this Gravitation Modification Group

5.     Members’ email addresses are not visible to other members or to the public.

As one of the founders of this field I expect that together we can one day travel daily to the outer planets using commercial gravity modification engines. If I had my way it would be by the year 2015.

Laying the theoretical foundations and the design rules for gravity modification as a working technology backed by experimental observations, has been a 10-year adventure to say the least. Many people helped me get to this point, especially members of the National Space Society, who over the years provided venue, International Space Development Conferences, for me to present many of my ideas.

A critical need in that direction is the recognition by the physics & engineering communities that gravity modification is a valid theoretical endeavor that is within our grasp in our lifetimes. A first step in this direction was the acceptance of my paper "An Approach to Gravity Modification As A Propulsion Technology" by the Space, Propulsion & Energy Sciences International Forum (SPESIF) 2009, and it publications by the American Institute of Physics (AIP) as an AIP Conference Proceeding. The key finding of this paper is the equation for gravitational acceleration, g = tau.c^2, that is not a function of mass or of gravitational waves.

I published my book, which continues to be a work-in-progress, titled An Introduction to Gravity Modification: A Guide to Using Laithwaite’s and Podkletnov’s Experiments and the Physics of Forces for Empirical Results, Universal Publishers, March 2008, 396 pages, $29.95. (Purchase this book or read the customer reviews from Amazon.com)

There were 3 objectives for writing this book:

1.   To desensitize this technology and place it in the hands of ordinary individuals as was the case with personal computers.

2.   To firmly establish a solid theoretical and experimental footing for this new physics of forces that facilitates the design of gravity modification devices. This new physics of forces shows that gravitational, electromagnetic, and mechanical forces have a common property, Non-Inertia Fields, or Ni Fields.

3.   To enable anyone with a solid engineering background to develop their version of this technology.

As a measure of success, at last count, this book is available in 16 countries.

Prototyping and commercial viability are the next major milestones, These next steps will require much greater funding, more scientist, and engineers. Podkletnov himself is looking to raise US$80,000,000 to build a "semi-industrial prototype" (his own words) by 2012/2015. Can we rise to the challenge?

I do hope that you will be one of these innovators or a participant in the birth of this new technology.

Sincerely,

Ben
