For the first time in years I have a problem I cannot resolve. I have
3 birds lame/limping, legs seem thick or scaled in some way. I have
cleaned, dusted, treated legs and no improvement. Any ideas as to
what this may be other than a possible mite issue...

what did you treat with? Sounds like scaly mites.
