I'm a researcher at TU Berlin, currently looking into graph mining problems on large (100 million+ edges) social graphs. I'm also a committer at Apache Mahout, which has a (very young) module for graph mining on Hadoop and students of mine are currently evaluating Apache Giraph an open source implementation of Pregel. If that topic fits your meeting, I'd love to join!
