Can you please give me information on the oldest printed book in Grantha
that you can find and preferably post a scan of Grantha text from it?
I remember seeing a Vaidyanatha Dikshitiyam with Tamil translation
printed in 1890s but I hope I am not imagining things.
The proprietor of Sharada Vilas Press Kumbakonam told me their oldest
printed book was from 1903.

Thanks! Anything still further earlier, Raghuji?

I think you misunderstand the statement. It says the Vaishnava Grantha
Mudrapaka Sabha (NOT the Samskrita Granthalipi Sabha!!!) was registered
as per the sixth act of the year 1882! Perhaps an old version of the
copyright act was enacted in 1882.

I have seen this in some later manuscripts also, but I do not believe
this is sufficient justification for encoding ே ோ in Grantha!

Oldest so far but it will do for my purpose! Do you have this book in
electronic format or only physical book? Please post at least one scan.
Many many dhanyavaads!
