I didn't. But like others, I would love to hear from people who were
there in the trenches. I am not talking about all of the talking
heads in the blogosphere. I am referring to the real Java Developers
that attended the conference.
What did you learn? What is new and exciting centered around Java?
Did you meet anyone famous, in the Java / Open source world? Did you
go to the Java Possee BOF? Did you go to any BOF's? Is Sun still
trying desperately to push NetBeans (you do remember NetBeans don't
you, the other Open Source Java IDE....hehehe*). What about that
akward purchase of MySQL by Sun....was anything mentioned about that?
Or Oracle buying BEA....? Any hints as to what is going on there?
