Whilst I have no sympathy for the failing socialist states in the EU
its the height of hypocrisy the cosseted public EU civil servants pay
no tax whatsoever, Christine Largaurde the now head of the IMF pays no
tax whatsoever on her salary of £300.000 per year

Personally I can only admire any person that manages to earn all that
much yet not have to pay tax on any of it ! It sounds simply perfect
to me.

Do I detect a note of sour jealousy here, 'Blue ?

I dount True is jealous of that lousy lot across the water but really
Briar you do come out with some "stuff." Admiring those that are
paid disgusting amounts of money out of a public purse and then not
paying tax on it is "perfect" to you? If everyone followed your
strange thinking you would not be getting a pension or anything else
that came to you via a government. Sort of thing my Grand-daughter
might come up with!

Oh Anthony, my respect to your brilliant Granddaughter. Mine is 18
now and studying in Glasgow - she is into Photography, which gives her
all manner of possible futures, from photojournalism to doing weddings
and such, but she has a special interest for volcanoes - I intend to
finance her a trip to Iceland one summer - I love it there and have
been several times, I am sure she will find it exciting. How young is
your's ?
