google plans is to have advertisements to cover the cost of expensive
phone...it may just workout fine

for me this forced ads is so stupid ... is not working !!! and
thinking that google learn his lesson whit that little and so
nonintrusive google search ads .. and why to be soo expensive when you
can use already almost finished openmoko platform!? Why is this need
to reinvent the well !? Use it !! This is the only way to beat apple
iphone, his only weakness is the closed proprietary hardware,
overpriced to all of us. And google want to make even a more expensive
phone and to lover the cost with ads!! What a stupid ass ideea. Nobody
will buy it!

it will depends on how the ads be put into the phone, at least for now
we know the price will be cheaper than iphone

Althougt some guys think this is stupid, i want get this phone very
soon.
It is said that Gphone will release at the first season of next year,
that' a exciting news!

for me what i'm like to google, is his more smart ads than
competition. this is what make me to use it from a long time ago ...
his effort to deliver the so called "personalized ads". look at google
search page! based on what you search you see some ads ... in a
somewhat dull form, little text to you right ... i highly appreciate
this ... compare it with animated gif's and annoying lash from
competition ... a smart decision ... google ads look like a tinny
suggestion, not screams to buy ... and this is right because my main
activity is to search something using google search page not to buy
this and that.

but i have no idea how google can reproduce this behavior to a very
tinny screen! this is the problem. a gphone must be tinny! and in this
tinny space you struggle to use your phone apps, maybe some little
games. how to jump here ads without taking space from my apps? because
when i use the phone i do something with it .. i search in agenda, i
play a game ... etc. no right place left to put a tinny, smart and non
intrusive ads.

in a gphone is no space left for ads. screen is to tinny, and must be
tinny! i don't want to carry a half sized laptop in my pocket
everyday, all the time!

so ... from where will jump to me this ads in a gphone? my fear is
that is only one strategy left for ads to appear ... to take all
screens when i don't want to do that .. and this will angry me, very
much ... and i will throw gphone to bin scraps ...
