I just updated my website "Sbiis Saibian's Large Number Site" and
added a whole new chapter.

 It's the 2nd chapter of Section II, titled "The tools of Science". It
provides a small introduction into the use and understanding of
scientific notation, and it includes several articles on the SI
prefixes including, their origin and history, their current usage,
various hoaxes and proposals for extension, and lastly a few proposed
extensions of my own.
