Have any of you done a "budget 101" page for your websites? I'm
looking for ideas (and content, if you'll share) for an explanatory
page about county government and how its tax rate is distributed....
along with any other thoughts you might have.

We're tasked with developing one for Morris County.

The County Budget's Explanatory pages does that or are you looking for something different/generic?

We're going to create a page that shows a pie chart of the spending allocation, bullet points on the 2012 budget, and wanted to add an explanation of, for example, why the county tax rate would go down in one town and up in another, even though the FH have cut spending over 5 years.

We uploaded the introduced budget to Scribd last night and have put out a lengthy press release, as well as a PPT with the budget highlights, but wanted something more "educational" for the public about budgeting.
