is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in
accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with
additional information included in this notice. This announcement
constitutes the only solicitation; Quotations are being requested and a
written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation number is
FA4416-99-T0203. Offerors must comply with all instructions in FAR
52.212-1 with submittal of their offer and provide all information. This
solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those
in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-10. The Standards
Industrial Classification Number is 0782 and the Business Size Standard
is $5.0 million. The proposed contract action here is a small business
set aside. Performance of contract will be at military family housing in
Landover,MD. The following provisions and clauses apply to this
acquisition. FAR 52.212-3, "Offeror Representations and Certifications --
Commercial items", FAR 52.212-4, "Contract Terms and Conditions --
Commercial Items", FAR 52.228, "Insurance -- Work on a Government
Installation". Contract award will be based upon Price and Past
Performance. DESCRIPTION: Provide landscaping for flower beds and traffic
circles at military family housing in Landover, Md. In accordance with
the following statement of work: Contractor shall furnish all labor,
equipment, tools, transportation and personnel to furnish and plant
seasonal flowers in beds at the entrance to Fieldstone Way, Ridgefield
Blvd., and Valley Trail Lane, and landscape the traffic circles on
Fieldstone Way, Ridgefield Blvd., and Chatsfield Way Summerfield military
family housing. A site visit will be held at 11:00 AM Eastern Standard
Time on 18 Feb 99. Interested parties need to contact Robert Rubien at
