supervision for the construction of a new overhead commercial power
feeder from the Site "R" Sewage Plant to the D Portal substation area.
The description of this overhead commercial power feeder shall include
but not be limited to the following site preparation, trenching,
installation of conduit, installation of overhead poles and power lines,
transformers, concrete and high voltage service connections. The project
disciplines consist of but are not limited to high voltage electricians,
heavy equipment operators and general construction labors. All employees
of the successful contractor including any and all subcontractors will be
required to obtain a minimum NAC security clearance prior to scheduling
the commencement of any work on site. Solicitation number
DAMD17-99-B-0057 will be available on or about August 15, 1999 and will
open on or about September 15, 1999. All responsible sources may submit
a bid that will be considered. However, solicitation packagesare limited
to 40 packets on a first come, first served basis. Request for copies of
this solicitation package shall be in writing or facsimile (301-619-3002)
not later than 10 days from the date of this publication. The estimated
price range of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The
SIC Code for this procurement action is 1623 and the size standards is
$17.0 million in average annual receipts. Unrestricted. Any resulting
