Hi all,

I'm using GYB to migrate my emails from a Google Workspace account to my regular gmail account. I was successfully able to install and perform a full backup of my old workspace account, but I'm having trouble restoring the emails to my gmail account.

After completing the backup, I created a new project within my gmail account and attempted to perform the restoration. Below is what I got in terminal with my personal details [removed]. Can anyone give any advice on where to go from here? Thanks!

macbook-air:~ jjbarickman$ bin/gyb/gyb --email [MYGMAIL]@gmail.com --action restore --local-folder GYB-GMail-Backup-joel@[MYDOMAIN].com

Using backup folder GYB-GMail-Backup-joel@[MYDOMAIN].com

Bumping this back up to the top. If anyone can provide some advice I'd appreciate it. Really hoping to get this to work so I can get about 12 years worth of business emails recovered into Gmail.

Thanks in advance!

Hi, did you get anywhere with this? I'm getting the exact same error. Restoring emails to a group. I've restored multiple backups today but one account is throwing this error.

Thanks

If someone can share a backup or box that fails this way I can take a look.

Hi Jay,

Thanks for the quick reply. Do you mean the msg-db.sqlite file? Sorry, I'm quite new to this. Can I attach that here?

Thanks

Jordan

If it's a gyb backup then the entire backup folder.
