There is a repository for security updates and bug fixes for gOS 3.0 Gadgets, but you need to add this line to your Software Sources, if not present.
deb http://software.thinkgos.com/ gadgets main
Do NOT try to manually upgrade from Ubuntu 8.10 repositories as this WILL break gOS!
