Though many people use linux all the time when it comes to office
works like making a spreadsheet or pp ,they still rely on the
miscrosoft. It is really heart breaking thing. Openoffice is far better
in my opinion .has anyone tried impress instead of powerpoint or calc
instead of excel??? only a few will be there.Next time you pay

Which is better KDE or GNOME????….I have heard this question many a
times from my friends who are new to linux systems. So today i
decided
to write a post aiming to choose the best one for them. You can also save your list of installed programmes to a text file and
re-install them on another computer or on the same one if you format your
drive. This requires downloading them again which is no problem if you have
a hispeed connection. This gives you the advantage of being able to start
fresh. No, as far as I know there is no such possibility (please correct me
if i'm wrong).
What IS possible is to "remaster", that is to create a new live_CD
from the version on your hard-disk.

In a way its a back-up of the complete (and updated) gOS.

read more about the tool to do it here: [link]

A well made Live_USB usb stick shouldn't install anything on your
harddisk, and there is no need to do so.

In this case it seems a grub boot loader was installed (which again
isn't something that should have happened).
The error message means the boot loader (used for booting Linux)
cannot find the "hard-disk" with Linux on it.
