I started getting the error "Error 511 - Connection to Google failed while retrieving" every time I try to sync. This has not happened before, but for some reason it started happening few days ago. I am syncing four calendars on a hosted account, those belong to me, my wife, daughter and a national holidays calendar.
Can you help me clarify what is causing this? In Google, everything works as expected.
The server log files show this error is being generated because Google is returning a "Calendar Not Found" error for one of your Google Calendars.
I suggest logging into GooSync and then refreshing the calendar list on the My Device page. This will ensure that GooSync has all of the correct links to your Google Calendars.

Thanks. I did refresh my calendars even though they have not changed since my GooSync account was created. I sync exactly same calendars as I started out with.
Only way to complete a sync is to remove my wifes calendar, she rarely uses it, but there are few entries this week that I suspect might the problem. Btw, do private events in shared calendars (ones I cannot see contents of) get synced in any way to my device?
I just refreshed the calendars again, tried sync and failed.

Private events from shared calendars will be synchronised to your device but they will be empty except for the tag/category of the associated calendar.
How is your wife's calendar shared with you? Is it shared as standard read-only or is it shared as "view free/busy only"?
We've detected a problem when attempting to access the "free/busy only" calendars, Google prevents us from accessing these calendars and returns the not found error.
Development are investigating the issue and we will post back once we have more information.

I have also not been able to sync for some time. Last successful sync was 4 days ago. I have been trying all morning and continue to get Erro Code 511.

The log files show that Google is returning a "403 Forbidden" code when GooSync attempts to retrieve the data from your wifes calendar.
Please ensure that the access has not been changed for this calendar and that GooSync is using the correct link for this calendar (only way to be certain is to refresh the calendar list).
